Fans of Outlander will recognise Doune Castle as the filming location used for Castle Leoch. It also appeared in Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Blair Drummond Safari Park transfers.
Looking for a family day out near Stirling?
Blair Drummond Safari Park is just outside Stirling, roughly a 15-minute drive from the city depending on traffic and your starting point.
The park is home to a wide range of animals, including lions, tigers, rhinos and giraffes. There are safari drive-through reserves as well as separate animal viewing areas.
We’ve previously arranged family days out to Blair Drummond, and suitable private hire transport can be arranged for families travelling together.
Tell us whether you need a simple drop-off, an agreed return pickup or a longer transport arrangement.
Safari admission is purchased separately. Any arrangement involving the drive-through animal reserves must also comply with the park’s rules and be agreed in advance.

The Kelpies are two enormous horse-head sculptures at The Helix in Falkirk, south-east of Stirling.
We can discuss adding a visit to The Kelpies before or after your Stirling sightseeing.

Student boxes, bedding, suitcases, buggies and other bulky items must be declared before confirming your journey. All luggage must fit safely in the allocated vehicle.

Doune Castle is approximately 8.5 to 9 miles from Stirling. Driving time is commonly around 15–20 minutes in normal conditions, depending on your starting location. It’s a popular destination for Outlander fans.

Yes. Family day-out transport can be arranged by advance booking. Blair Drummond is just outside Stirling, approximately 15 minutes away by road, depending on traffic and location. Park admission and activities are separate.
