Send your ship name, all-aboard time, preferred stops, passenger count and any accessibility or luggage requirements. We’ll assess a realistic route and agree a return collection plan with sensible time allowed for traffic and the port’s embarkation rules. Longer destinations may not be practical during a short port call.
Will you get me back to the ferry or cruise ship?
We can plan a return journey with your sailing deadline in mind — but no driver can guarantee against road closures, unexpected traffic or changes to a ship’s schedule. Please give us the operator’s required return time and allow a generous buffer. We don’t provide ferry tickets, guided excursions or admission to attractions as part of the standard transfer.

Do you provide private hire from Glasgow Airport to Cairnryan?
We can quote for pre-booked Glasgow Airport to Cairnryan transfers, subject to driver and vehicle availability. Tell us whether your sailing is with Stena Line or P&O, your check-in deadline, passengers and baggage.
Can you collect us from Greenock Ocean Terminal after our cruise?
Yes, you can request a collection at Greenock Ocean Terminal for travel to Glasgow, a hotel, an airport or another agreed address. Share your ship name and disembarkation information so the meeting arrangements can be discussed.
Can we book a cruise day trip and return to the ship?
We can discuss a return itinerary from Greenock for a day ashore, including Glasgow or nearby sightseeing. We’ll plan around the ship’s published all-aboard time and a sensible safety margin, subject to traffic, the actual itinerary and availability.
Do you transfer passengers to Ardrossan and Troon ferry terminals?
Yes, enquiries for both ports are welcome. Please check your Arran ticket and the ferry operator’s current sailing arrangements, since the departure terminal can change.
Can you arrange travel to Kennacraig or Oban?
We can quote for Kennacraig ferry terminal, Oban and other Scottish ferry connections. Longer journeys are planned around your exact check-in time and any agreed comfort stops.
Are ferries still operating from Stranraer to Northern Ireland?
Current passenger ferry crossings to Belfast and Larne use the Cairnryan terminals. We can collect from Stranraer-area addresses and take you to the correct port if needed.
What if our ferry or cruise ship is delayed?
Let us know as soon as you learn of a delay, cancellation or terminal change. We’ll review collection arrangements where possible. Different pickup times, additional waiting or route changes may affect availability and price.
Can an 8-seater carry our group’s suitcases?
Our XLWB Mercedes Vito can carry up to eight passengers, eight standard large 23kg suitcases and eight cabin-size bags. Tell us about non-standard luggage or large equipment so the vehicle can be checked against your actual needs.
Are ferry tickets or guided tours included?
No. Glasgow 8 Seaters arranges pre-booked private hire transport through licensed drivers. Ferry and cruise tickets, port charges where applicable, attraction tickets and separate tour-guide services are not included unless explicitly agreed.
